A note from John Cain:
Amber and Cheryl are from Vevay Indiana. I have known the family since 1997. They helped me get on my feet and let me live with them at one time when I worked at the shoe factory in Vevay. I’m sad to hear that this has happened to Amber and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I know this is very tough on you guys. This story was really hard to put together without tearing up. Thanks to the people at Gallatin Health Care for passing out the little ribbons to support one of your own employees. Cheryl is a great woman and will need your support. Thank you.

A candlelight vigil was planned for Turner at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park in Vevay at 8 p.m.
