SnapShot(60)Last night the new members of the Gallatin County School board lowered property taxes by .9%. It takes the new rate down to 66.6 from 67.5, member Alex Tainsh had the votes over a month ago to lower the rates.  Speaking with him after the meeting he stated that he did not for see needing to raise any taxes for a long time.  Next year two of the remaining school board members that were left after the last election will be up for re-election, Soyna Giles and Mr. David Morris.
