Snapshot(61)This morning around 10:15 a Greyhound bus driven by 52 year old Willie E. Marsh, from Birmingham AL., wrecked at the 68 mile marker on I71 North in Gallatin County KY. The bus was on its way to Chicago IL, when the driver came up on stopped traffic where the Gallatin County Sheriff’s office was working a wreck at the 69 mile marker.  The drive said he took the only opening available to him to keep from hitting the vehicles in front of him.  The bus went upon an embankment and behind a guard rail; there was 30 passengers’ on the bus along with another driver that was catching a ride.  Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, the rest were taken by a bus provided by the Gallatin County School system to meet the bus Greyhound sent to pick them up. Passengers on the bus said they were very fortunate that no one else was hurt and no one sustained major injuries.
