This afternoon Dillard Crase wrecked on HWY 16, just pass HWY 562 heading toward Verona. Mr. Crase lost control of his vehicle hitting a tree head on and landing around 200 feet over an embankment.  Mr. Crase had to be extracted from the vehicle by Gallatin County Fire Department, Glencoe Fire Department and Gallatin County EMS.  The child in the vehicle was ok and the other passenger suffered injuries to her shoulder.  Mr. Crase was transported to Verona where he was flown to the hospital by PHI. He is expected to make a full recovery.  Now let me say this, for all of you out there that always have negative things to say about the emergency services here in the county, this is a good video to watch to see how good and professional our emergency personnel truly are here in our county.  It shows how everyone works together when it comes down to saving lives and helping the people in our community, so when you see them out thank them, this could have been you.
