Three more arrest was made this weekend on the County’s fight against methamphetamine. Two were arrested by the Boone County Sherriff’s Department; Devon Kathryn Beers, 20, was arrested for Manufacturing Meth 1st offence, Drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and possession of a cont. substance 1st degree, 1st OFF, Heroin. Also arrested was Silver Obanion Jackson, 28, Manufacturing Meth, 1st OFF., and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess. The 2 alleged suspects were arrested and detained in Boone County.
The other arrest was made by the Kentucky State Police when they stopped Travis S Moore, 32 of Warsaw, at the intersection of Johnson road and HWY 127, for texting while driving and found a mobile Meth lab, he was charged with: Communication Device Violation, 1st OFF, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st OFF, Poss Cont Sub, 2nd Degree – Drug unspecified, Tampering with physical evidence, Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess, OPER MTR VEH U/INFLU ALC/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1st OFF and also failure to notify address change to department of transportation. He is being held on a $5000.00 cash bond at CCDC.
