Two teens, Daniel Chapman, 15, and Alexander Sullivan, 17, died in a single car accident and a third was taken to the hospital after he crawled out from the wreckage to get help. He is expected to be ok. This happened Saturday at around 8pm on US 42 next to Sargent Sissy’s bait shop near HWY 127. The driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

We are told by a person on the scene that Speed may have been a factor for the deadly crash. All victims are Gallatin County high school students.
US 42 from Warsaw to HWY 127 was closed for a few hours while crews worked to pull the car up from the embankment.

Witnesses on the scene say they are surprised that anyone survived the crash.

Investigators say a preliminary investigation shows speed and possibly alcohol may have been factors in the deadly crash.
