Today fire fighters stayed busy here in Gallatin County battling grass fires started by people burning trash and the winds causing them to burn out of control. Around 1000 this morning Fire Fighters were called to Doolin Lane for a grass fire, they owner used a dozer to push the fire away from his buildings until Fire Fighters arrived to put out the rest of the flames. Then around 1245 Fire Fighters were dispatched once again to a grass fire on Glencoe Sparta Road, where someone was burning trash and the wind caused it to burn out of control. They were able to quickly extinguish the fire before any major damage could occur.
