At 11:36pm, The Glencoe and Warsaw Fire Departments were called to a double-wide fire on Highway 16. We were told by a witness that State Police, Warsaw Police, and the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Department raided the home because of a possible meth lab. The meth suspect allegedly set the home on fire and took off running. The Glencoe Fire Department spotted someone running on Highway 16 on their way to the scene of the fire and notified police. When the first fire crews arrived on the scene, smoke and fire were visible. There was, in fact, a meth lab located in the house and fire crews were told to use extreme caution because of the possibility of an explosion if the fire were to reach the lab. Fire crews quickly put the fire out and by the time our cameras arrived, only smoke was visible. No arrest has been made at this time.
